THE HEAVENLY EYEThe Sacred statue of Cao Dai religion appeared for the first time to the first disciple was Mr. Ngo Minh Chieu in Duong Dong, Phu Quoc in 1921. Mr. Ngo directly recognized this as the revelation of God to choose an idol for the Tao. He repainted the
Heavenly Eye as a very majestic left eye to worship and soon passed it on to his fellow believers.
Today, the Sarced statue is the supreme statue in the entire Cao Dai religion, in the holy houses as well as in the homes of believers.
Meaning:
Cao Dai taught that the Heavenly Eye is the "mysterious theory" of the Tao, and that the meaning of his early disciples was difficult to understand. However, gradually, according to the extensive praise of the teachings of public transmission and spiritual transmission, Cao Dai believers can reflect on the basic and universal meanings of the Heavenly Eye as follows:
1. Religious meaning:
1Worshipping one eye is monotheistic worship (monothéiste), alluding to Cao Dai religion as a monotheistic religion different from medieval polytheistic beliefs, marking a higher and higher level of evolution in the history of world religions. The Mahayana Sutra [4] 5, it is written: "In heaven and earth, there is a single reason that defines the pure light as Tai Chi, which is the "center" for the universe that wisdom all things. That "unique reason" is omniscient, omniscient, infinitely transformed, nurturing all living beings, preserving all kinds of things. . . . As for humanity, the "heart" is the center of man. The center of the religion is very mysterious, spiritual, and makes people happy on the path of evolution. So you have to take the mind as the master. "

3. Meaning of the teachings of Theology:
The Heavenly Eye is a symbol of the "god", because "the god dwells in the Eye" [5]6. The god is the supernatural power of the subject.
For God, the Spirit or "Divine Foot" is His supreme power that acts on the entire universe of all things. In the Mahayana Sutra, he taught:
Why is Heavenly Eye the Teacher? . . . Labels are the door to the human heart. That heart is the Creator, that is, the God, and the God is the Void Reason. That Void Li is Heaven. [6] 7
.· For humans, the Spirit manifests spiritual power when the person reaches the highest capacity of concentration of the Mind.
· In terms of the Dharma, God is one of the three treasures (Tam Buu) of the Lesser Heaven and Earth of Nature: Spirit - Qi - God. Cultivation according to the Fairy Path is the full nourishment and unity of the Three Bu to attain the Path. Since the beginning of the Tao, His Holiness the Patriarch Cao Dai has said, "Establishing the Three Stages of this Spectrum, only the Master gives the "God" to the "Spirit and Spirit" to unite the "Three Treasures" to fully unite the "Three Treasures" is the mystery of superhuman holiness"[7] 8
Therefore, the Great Path of the Three Universals worships the Heavenly Eye is the worship of the Higher Self and the True God of the universe, that is, the selfless God, the Origin of the universe of all things, and also the salvation of sentient beings.
